About CMAT
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level MBA entrance examination conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBA, PGDM, PGCM, Executive PGDM, and other postgraduate management programs offered by AICTE-approved institutions and several leading universities across India. CMAT is one of the most recognized management entrance exams and is accepted by more than 1,000+ AICTE-approved management institutes. The CMAT exam evaluates candidates on essential management aptitude skills such as Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The examination is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and consists entirely of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test is designed to assess analytical ability, numerical aptitude, logical thinking, reading comprehension, decision-making, business awareness, and problem-solving skills required for management education. Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Science, Arts, Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Agriculture, Computer Applications, or any other recognized discipline are eligible to appear for the CMAT examination. Final-year undergraduate students whose results will be declared before the commencement of the academic session are also eligible to apply.
