About D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)
A Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a 2-year diploma program designed for students who want to build a career in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The course provides foundational knowledge of medicines, drug formulations, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, hospital pharmacy, and community pharmacy. It prepares students to work as registered pharmacists in hospitals, retail pharmacies, clinics, and pharmaceutical companies. D.Pharm is an excellent option for students who wish to enter the pharmacy profession quickly after completing 10+2. After completing the course and registering with the respective state pharmacy council, graduates can work as licensed pharmacists or pursue higher education such as B.Pharm through lateral entry (where applicable).
