Culinary Arts is a professional course designed for students who aspire to build a successful career in the food, hospitality, and culinary industries. The course provides comprehensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, bakery and confectionery, international cuisines, food presentation, kitchen management, nutrition, food safety, and restaurant operations. The curriculum combines theoretical learning with intensive practical training in professional kitchens, allowing students to master essential culinary skills using modern cooking equipment and industry-standard techniques. Students learn the preparation of Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, Mediterranean, French, and other international cuisines while developing expertise in menu planning, food costing, kitchen organization, and customer service. The course also covers bakery and pastry production, food science, nutrition, hospitality management, hygiene standards, inventory management, culinary entrepreneurship, and restaurant operations. Through internships, live kitchen training, industrial visits, hotel exposure, and culinary competitions, students gain real-world experience required for the hospitality industry.
