About B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology
A Bachelor of Science in Operation Theatre Technology (B.Sc. OTT) is a 3-year undergraduate allied healthcare program (some universities offer a 4-year program with a compulsory internship). The course trains students to manage operation theaters, handle surgical instruments, maintain sterile environments, assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgeries, and provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical experience through hospital training.
