About B.Sc. Forensic Science
B.Sc. Forensic Science is a 3-year undergraduate degree that focuses on the application of scientific principles to investigate crimes and support the justice system. The program combines subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, toxicology, criminal law, forensic medicine, and digital forensics to help students analyze evidence collected from crime scenes. Through laboratory work, practical training, internships, and case studies, students gain the skills required to solve criminal investigations using scientific methods.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Students from the science stream (physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics) are generally eligible.
Minimum 45%–50% aggregate marks (varies by university).
CUET UG for central universities.
Admission is based on merit or university entrance examinations, depending on the institution.
